Melata honey is made from the oak plant secretion by aphids. When the bees collected honeyed droplet they obtain a honey coming from this source.
A quite rare honey produced in some areas of Marche characterized by the existence of extensive forest of oak.
The color is very dark, with crystallization almost absent, it has a vegetable smell, of jam and green tomato, a taste less fulsome than nectar honey.

ADVICE: at table pairing with particular mature or semi-mature cheese.
QUALITY: ricco it’s recommended for sportsperson because it is full of mineral salts.
